Create a television opening title sequence completely from typography. The opening title sequence should lend itself to and enhance the pathos of the television show.
︎︎︎Approach:
The main focus of the video is the early 1900's wood style typography being "burned" into place, alongside clouds of smoke and embers flying around the screen. If you have ever watched Peaky Blinders, these elements are at the core of the Peaky Blinders origins. The smoke, the embers, and the burning of the letters are representative of their hometown Birmingham, a heavy industrial area in the early 1900's with loads of black smoke, fire, and the sounds of objects being brought to life. This video is comprised of individual elements that were then composed and layered together in After Effects to create the final video.
